About Us
Our goal at USBA is to provide a professional format for high school pitchers & catchers to be
evaluated by college coaches and major league scouts for the sole purpose of positioning yourself to
receive a baseball college scholarship or a major league contract. Our showcase camp is only open to
high school juniors & seniors. Sophomores may attend with special invitation only.
Previous USBA camps have drawn over 50 professional college & major league scouts. Our showcase camps
gives coaches an opportunity during their off season to address the two most critical needs of most
teams, pitchers & catchers.
Each participant will receive an opportunity to showcase their skills on an individual basis.
Participating catchers will be evaluated on throws down to second base,(pop times) as
well as their defensive ability behind the plate. Batting practice for all catchers will follow. Each
pitcher, one at a time, will have an opportunity to pitch on a major league mound, in a professional
environment, in full view of major league scouts & college coaches.
